One of the best ways to experience Lake Como is by boat.
You can take a private boat tour, rent a small boat, or use the public ferry to visit the towns around the lake.
In Lenno or Cadenabbia there are big ferry’s stations.

Bellagio – known as the “Pearl of Lake Como”

Como – historic city with shops and restaurants
Ride the historic Como–Brunate Funicular from Como to the hilltop village of Brunate.
At the top you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and the Alps and nice restaurants.
The mountains around the lake offer incredible hiking trails.
One of the most famous routes is the Greenway del Lago di Como, a scenic walk through small villages and olive groves.
The Greenway is a well-marked walking trail of about 10 km (6 miles) that runs along the western shore of the lake, connecting Colonno in the north to Cadenabbia in the south. It’s perfect for tourists who want to combine nature, history, and local culture in a single walk.
Duration: About 3-4 hours at a leisurely pace, but you can split it into sections. Easy to moderate difficulty; mostly paved or well-maintained paths.
